The Society usually holds four shows each year, including one in conjunction with an annual conference featuring illustrated lectures. They are often staged at the RHS Garden at Wisley or at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. However, the Society seeks to schedule events at different locations, to enable a wider portion of the membership to attend, so other meetings and shows may be held and will be advertised here.

Members wishing to enter plants or photographs for competition, are advised before entering to read the society’s competition rules in the Show Policy, or contact the Show Secretary shows@cyclamen.org.

Members are also invited to bring any surplus plants (cyclamen, or other plants likely to interest cyclamen growers) to sell. You will be expected to donate 25% of the proceeds to the Society. Plants for sale should have two labels, one with the name of the plant, the other with the seller’s name and price.

RHS Wisley – Wisley Lane, Wisley, Woking GU23 6QB
From London, the west, southwest, north, east and Kent
Leave the M25 at junction 10 and head southwest on the A3 towards Guildford. After about 1½ miles take the slip road for ‘Ripley’, turn right under the A3 and right up the slip road to join the A3 northbound. After about 100 metres turn left for the RHS Wisley Gardens.
From the south
From Guildford head northeast on the A3 towards London for about 6 miles. About 1 mile before the turn-off for Wisley you will pass a BP service station on both sides of the road. As you reach the bottom of the hill past the service station, the turn left for RHS Wisley is on the left.

RHS Bridgewater – Occupation Road, Off Leigh Road, Worsley, Salford, Greater Manchester, M28 2LJ.
RHS Garden Bridgewater is near Worsley in Salford, in the North West of England. You can reach it in under 30 minutes from central Manchester.

RHS Harlow Carr – Crag Lane, Beckwithshaw, Harrogate HG3 1QB.
RHS Garden Harlow Carr is situated on Crag Lane, off Otley Road (B6162) about a mile and a half from the centre of Harrogate.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens – Westbourne Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 3TR.
FROM M40 – Take M42 West to M5 North and then follow directions from M5.
FROM M5 – Leave at Junction 3 and take A456 signposted to City Centre. Turn right on to B4129 (Norfolk Road) signposted to Botanical Gardens.
FROM M6 – Leave at Junction 6 and take A38(M) to City Centre. Follow underpasses sign posted Birmingham West to A456. At Five Ways island turn left on to B4217 (Calthorpe Road) signposted to Botanical Gardens.
The gardens are well signposted with brown and cream tourist signs from at least two miles away. If you have a De Luxe Birmingham A-Z map, the reference is page 116 4B. On the Ordnance Survey Street Atlas of Birmingham and West Midlands, the map reference is page 85 7F.
The Birmingham Botanical Gardens are to the south west of the Birmingham clean air zone, please be aware of the zone when planning your journey.
